 Pecan Crispies Cookies

Ingredients & Directions


1/2 cup Butter, softened
1/2 cup Shortening
2 cup Brown sugar, firmly packed
2 Eggs
2 1/2 cup All purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon Salt

1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup Pecans, chopped


Preheat the oven to 350 F degrees. In a large bowl cream butter and shortening then gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beating until well combined. Slowly add flour, baking soda and salt then mix together. Stir in pecans. Drop dough by level tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Cool slightly on cookie sheets; remove to wire racks.
